Outside Central Region (OCR)
When looking at a map of Singapore’s districts, you’ll see that the Outside Central Region (OCR) is almost three-quarters the size of the city. These are the places where most mass-market condos in the lower price range, as well as executive condominiums (ECs), are located.
The OCR is a very practical and affordable housing choice even for individuals who work in the city, with resale condo rates as low as $800 per square foot. Despite being located outside of the core districts, many people prefer to live in this area because of Singapore’s extensive public transportation system.
